‘HWPL Peace Textbook’, a tool for spreading peace culture
Even if you want to establish a peaceful world by passing on the culture of peace to future generations, you cannot pass it on if you do not know how to do so. ◆HWPL peace textbook consisting of 12 lessons
The textbooks that make up the peace education curriculum consist of 12 lessons. Lessons 1 to 4 help students discover the meaning and value of peace. Lessons 5 to 12 help students to develop the qualities as a peaceful citizen. The title of each lessons are ▲Lesson 1: The original appearance of all things in heaven and earth ▲Lesson 2: The reason why all things in heaven and earth are harmonious ▲Lesson 3: The cause of the breakdown of peace in the human world ▲Lesson 4: The order of the human world and restoration of relationships
The main content is to discover the answer to life and peace in nature that humanity pursues as the first step in peace education. That examines the principles of peace which are necessary for humanity, such as vitality, harmony, balance, cooperation, and coexistence contained in all things on Earth, the home of all living things.

The main content is to make people aware of the importance of peace through historical events and recent examples of war and peace. Furthermore, it suggests various methods to peacefully coexist with others and resolve conflicts in a peaceful manner.

Q. What are the expected effects of implementing peace education?
A: According to reports from schools and teachers in 78 countries that have implemented peace education, peace education has helped individual students achieve emotional stability, improve self-esteem, improve personal relationships, solve family problems, and reduce school violence. Furthermore, the continued spread of peace education is expected to lead to a decrease in youth crime rates in the community.
Q. How do you introduce HWPL peace education?
A: Educational institutions wishing to implement peace education establish a cooperative relationship by signing an MOU with HWPL. Institutions that have signed an MOU can freely plan and operate classes, such as regular classes, peace camps, and short-term programs, using HWPL peace education textbooks. Peace teachers can participate in teacher networks to share class materials and results and to develop their own classes.
Q. What does HWPL provide?
A: HWPL planned peace education and produced teaching materials in consultation with the Ministry of Education and teachers of each country. The basic textbook consists of 12 lessons and was produced for teenagers and college students. HWPL shares peace education textbooks and actual class cases taught in each country.
