HWPL and CCP Spread Hope Through Relief Activities in Pakistan

HWPL and CCP Spread Hope Through
Relief Activities in Pakistan

Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) and the Christian Council of Pakistan (CCP) held a joint “2025 Flood Relief Activity” on September 1 in Swabi Jaddon Valley, Pakistan. Under the slogan “Let’s join hands and serve humanity,” the event aimed to support residents affected by the devastating floods. Beyond material aid, the initiative carried a heartfelt message of peace, hope, and solidarity.

According to the Pakistani government, the floods claimed around 1,500 lives and left more than 2.5 million people displaced. Thousands of homes and farmlands were destroyed, and in remote areas like Swabi Jaddon Valley, delayed government aid worsened the tragedy. Entire families were lost — one family lost 13 members, another 8 — leaving the community in deep sorrow.

The relief event brought together 25 HWPL volunteers, 10 local supporters, CCP representatives, church leaders, and local residents. They distributed blankets, flour, cooking oil, milk, tea, and other essential supplies to affected families. Residents expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying the support gave them hope to start anew.

The head of HWPL Pakistan stated, “Helping our neighbors in times of crisis is a fundamental human duty and the starting point of peace.” He emphasized HWPL’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian work in over 90 countries worldwide. This relief activity, too, was recognized as a meaningful act of life-saving solidarity.

CCP representative Kamran Michael shared, “This activity was more than just relief—it was a gesture of hope.” He emphasized that the effort sent a message to isolated communities: “You are not alone.” Their compassionate work continues to inspire unity and hope across Pakistan and beyond.

Building on this relief activity, HWPL and CCP plan to launch long-term projects to help rebuild local communities. They are also working with educational authorities to integrate peace education into public curricula and provide learning opportunities for marginalized groups. Through such initiatives, they continue to cultivate a culture of peace that transcends borders and differences.

Even the smallest act of kindness can spark great change. Just as a single blood donation can save three lives, the compassion shown by HWPL and CCP has become a beacon of hope amid despair. This relief activity will be remembered as a symbol of true global solidarity for peace.
